Help on exhaust! OK, so I wanna get a Fbody in the distant future, and I wanna know what should I run....
1) Do true duals with Hooker Mufflers
2) Run a nice Cat-Back with Dual QTECs
Will dual QTECs make more power open than True Duals?
Also, does anybody know any good sounding CBs wit LTs and ORYs??

here perhaps i can be a little help, 8 exhaust set ups, 8th was the charm...i thought. here goes
First thing is first, you will want Long tube headers. so start your research for which ones you want. Second, this is when you need to decide if you wanna go with an off road y pipe or go true duals. after that its a decision between cats or not. then if you decide with the Ypipe set up you gotta decide what kind of sound you want/like. LS1sounds.com is yourfriend from there on.
MY SUGGESTION and i HIGHLY recommend this so you dont do **** like i did by trial and error, try to here some local f-bodies with aftermarket exhaust in person. This is help along with listening to ls1sounds.com.
True duals involve a fair amount of fabrication, as opposed to some y pipe set ups with a catback which bolt on. its goign to cost around 300-500 bucks to get a dumped at the axle true dual set up. unless you know how to do your own ****. to get it to run out the back we are talking even more, even sometimes up to 1200-1400 bucks, and even more at times. just depends on what you can do yourself and wha tyoua re willing to spend.
