intake mani... I have a 2006 Silverado that HAD a 5.3 lm7 motor in it. I swapped motors for an ls1 that was .50 over and resleeved. I have 3r cnc port and polished 243 heads on the ls1 with 1 7/8 long tubes with full 3" exhaust. the motor has 4340 forged bottom end same with connecting rods with flattop pistons. ls7 lifters and rockers chromoly push rods and BTR .660 springs. 3600 circle D stall 4l80e swap instead of the original 60E have a 14 bolt rear end. small c notch for the weight transfer as the truck has a 4/8 drop. I'm in a bind looking for intakes and the best intake fore a more factory look. I have a TBSS intake for the motor with a 90mm throttle body in the shop right now just don't know if that would be good for the motor? also has a custom grind cam. specs are .237/.635 intake .242/.609 exhaust on a 111 LSA the truck will be bottle fed so the intake would have to be good for around 175 to 200 hit.
The TBSS intake is the best flowing of all factory cathedral intake manifolds. This article gives a good overview of the intakes.
