Exactly! And it makes sense when you break it all down. Just like exhaust flow for example: Maybe you throw on the biggest and best headers but now maybe your your y-pipe and/or catback become a restriction, now negating the potential of the better flowing headers.

Like when someone puts a nasty cam in an otherwise stock engine, when a much milder cam and better heads and intake does the same or more. We see this all the time here, huh? Have a good one, my friend!

Yep and the bitch of it is that you don't always know where the bottleneck is until you try it out yourself.

you can easily find the bottle neck by logging the MAP. If your KPA is lower then 99- 100 then you have a restriction in the intake side. On my setup, with the SLP lid and no MAF, KPA was 97. With the 98mm lid and no MAF, KPA is 99.

Yep that will definitely tell you, I was just referring to a way for those of us who don't have a way to data log.
