99-02 LS1 FBody 100% "soup to nuts" E85 kit?
Does anyone sell a full on, no ****, everything kit to get E85 in the tank into the cylinders? Pump, fuel rails, injectors, prayers, unicorn blood....
Stock motor?
Cam only?
HCI?
Boost?
SR-71?
Obviously there is tuning required.

It’s actually fairly easy. You just need a flex fuel sensor and the pigtail and fittings
Flex fuel sensor

flex fuel sensor pig tail

You need some type of fittings for the sensor depending on your fuel system. Here’s one option but they make quick connect to AN fittings too

As for hooking it up and tuning. The pigtail has a power, ground and ff wire to pcm. The ff wire goes to pin 56 on the blue connector on the pcm. The ground is self explanatory and I used the ignition wire for my power source.
Once you get all that hooked up its just tuning. If you’re not runnin any boost (keeping 1 bar map sensor) you should be able to use your stock 99-02 pcm. If you go to a tuner usually they’ll know what to do but they need to change your operating system to one that accepts flex fuel. I believe an ‘02 Tahoe is one that will work.
Theres a couple real good threads on this actually. Let me find them and I’ll post them up
as for injectors you just need e85 compatible injectors sized for your power level. This is going to vary a ton based on your power levels but with e85 you use 33% more fuel. FIC is a really nice injector and they could help you figure out size. Or just a Siemens deka setup also. Most are e85 compatible but you want to be sure. Same rules for fuel pump.
as for fuel system as long as there are no rubber lines in your fuel system it should be fine. There aren’t any rubber lines on the stock fuel system so technically the stock fuel system is compatible.

Lol. Took me a lot of reading to learn all that.
one more thing. If you are running boost AND FLEX FUEL you need a p59 pcm. Stock 99-02 pcm doesn’t support 3 bar map. And I’m not sure about 2 bar. But the p59 plugs right in to the 99-02 wiring harness. You just have to change the end caps. Instead of blue and red they are blue and green iirc

Who's your tuner? What injectors and fuel pump do you have now? Stock fuel lines?

I currently have SVO green top 42# injectors and Racetronix 255LPH pump. Lines are stock. I don't think the pump is E85 compatible since I bought it before E85 was a thing
What is the flex fuel sensor? I was under the impression that all I needed was a pump, lines, pressure regulator, and 60+# injectors.

If you just want to run e85 and not flex fuel you could go without a sensor but I wouldn’t recommend that. Technically you would need to test the e85 at the gas station every time you filled up because it varies from station to station. But guys still do it so to each their own.
The flex fuel sensor senses the amount of ethanol in the gas and adjusts your tune accordingly.

^^^This! With E85 alcohol content usually all over the place, you need to be able to account for that, otherwise your AFR is ALSO all over the place. Get the sensor!
