Default Is it possible to hit 400rwhp with this combo?

I have a 02 WS6 trans am automatic car. My car dynoed 298.4 308tq. sae correction bone stock on a dyno jet dyno. My car currently has a slp lid, slp dual dual catback exhaust, ported stock throttle body, texas speed 1 3/4 lt headers, and 3 in ory. My combo will have a texas speed 223 226 600 113 lsa cam, ws6 ported oil pump, and tsp stg.1 ls6 heads and a tune. I have a circle d 278mm 3200 converter to go in the trans. Is it possible to get 400rwhp or close to it with this combination of parts. I would like to maybe run low 12s or a high 11 at the 1/4 track on drag radials.

Will you be re-dynoing on the same dyno as you did for the stock run?

This will also be with the stock ls6 intake on my car, and the che rocker arm bushing upgrade.

I'm hoping I can use the same dyno as I did two years ago. The dyno shop is closed at this moment. There is another dyno jet dyno that I can use also if I can't go to the original dyno. I'm hoping its open again whenever I get my heads and cam installed.

If you made 300 rwhp bone stock you should easily gain at least 100 rwhp with full bolt ons and heads and cam.

I hope this cam and heads will give me good under the curve power for mostly a street car with occasional track use.

Sounds like it should do decent. A 3.73 gear would help tighten it up a bit and give it more of that under the curve feel

I will be happy if my car hits a 11.9 or a 12.0 with sub frame connectors, lower control arms, biltstein shocks, panhard bar, lca rear location brackets, and a torque arm.

If you hook at least somewhat decent an 11.9 should be very doable

Yeah I have 3.23 gears in there now. Do you think my 1 3/4 tsp lt headers are going to hold me back a lot over a set of tsp 1 7/8 headers? I wasn't planning on heads and cam at the time I bought them.

Nope. You might gain like 5 hp with the 1 7/8" at best. Not worth the swap at all

Yeah, maybe I can hang with some stock 5.0 coyote mustangs lol. I wish my car pulled like the new corvette sting rays with the 8spd auto trans. Those cars are rockets when they launch on drag radials. I rode in my friends car with lt headers, ory, and a tune and it was fast. It ran a 11.15 best time of the day with one driver. Those cars the real deal.

Nah you should smoke a stock 11-17 5.0 no problem, and probably beat a stock C7 Vette, or at least give it a good run. You do all what you're planning here it will be a huge difference

I bet your car is a beast dude! These fbody cars are amazing with some mods. They are not heavy like the pig 5th gen. Camaros lol. You can have a pretty fast car with some mods and still be cheaper than buying a 5th gen. Camaro. I paid $10,500 for mine three yrs. ago with 71,000 miles. These cars are good bang for the buck cars.

Yep I totally agree these cars are a great bang for the buck. Mine on a 150 shot has surprised a few big horsepower rides lol. Do you have some sticky tires for the soon to be new found power? You'll definitely need some lol
