I think I would go Dorman LS2 before I went LS6.

Mainly it's the throttle body. One is 3-bolt(LS6), the other 4-bolt(LS2).

I would never do all that engine work then run a LS1 intake, at lease pick up a used LS6.

Can you share where you found that? I'd still be willing to bet the plenum is where the gain is.
