Using a 2011 4l80e with 2005 pcm

Using a 2011 4l80e with 2005 pcm New to LS swaps but I’ve been doing a lot of reading and learning. I just picked up a 2005 LQ9 motor with everything I need including the DBW pedal assembly.
I Know I have to flash my pcm because I am going to run a 4l80e and the motor has a 4l60e flexplate.
i know a guy that has a 2011 4l80e forsale but I’m not sure if it will Work with my 2005 pcm being the computer is 6 years older than that transmission? Did they change anything on the tranny that would make it so my pcm couldn’t run it?

Yeah I’m already having my harness converted to plug into a 4l80e, and I’ll have the correct tune put on it for a 4l80e....
i just want to make sure my 2005 pcm can run a 2011 tranny or if they changed some things that no longer made them compatible.
