Default injector ?

I have an ls6 intake and fuel rail. I will be purchasing FAST's EZ-EFI 2.0 LS unit. I am told the injector harness with this unit mates up with ls2-3-7 injectors. I think the ls3-7 injectors are shorter then the ls6 injectors--am I right and if so would I be best to get ls6 injectors or ls2-3-7? Thanks --Lee

The new ones will have two differences, height, and connector. They make adapters to mate basically anything to anything at this point, just need to see which ones you need.

There are really only 2 things you need to consider with injectors... Body type and harness. The LS3 injectors are very short, and LS1/6 are pretty tall. The body type goes by EV1, EV6, EV14 etc... Connectors will either by USCAR or minimeter. I know your pain, I have had to do lots of research for this stuff to figure out what I can use on my engine or not. All of my sensors are LS1, same as harness, and the engine is all LS3. It confuses me sometimes.

I wouldn't worry so much about the connector, but whether or not they will properly fit your fuel rail. If they are too tall then they won't work without modding the fuel rail in some way when you bolt it down, or using spacers. If they are shorter, there are spacers that are available. FAST makes the ones I used for my 102 intake and stock LS3 fuel rail. In either case you will need to do something about it. Like SS said, there are adapters to turn anything to anything.

You'll also want to buy some that will come with reliable injector data for your tune. That is one of my major considerations when purchasing injectors. If they are cheaper somewhere, but offer no data, I'll buy the ones that come with all the data for those injectors. This might not apply for your situation, but worth a thought.

Here's some injector info:

And yes, the LS2, 3, and 7 are indeed shorter than the gray LS1/6 injectors.
