SLP LID Cracked, Try to repair or just replace?

Default SLP LID Cracked, Try to repair or just replace?
Also is there a LID with a better fitment quality? SLP had a very hard time going on my stock MAF.

Can’t help you in the repair part, but I’ve always used a heat gun to soften up the opening on the lid before inserting the maf. It makes it quite a bit easier.

Yeah, I tried that and it still didn't want to go in initially..it took ALOT to get that MAF in there.

You could wrap that with Flex Seal tape but I'm not sure the bellows would fit over it.

I just went and bought a new LID, FTP has a sale - $55 for a 75mm LID.

As for bellows, there are no bellows that go over it, the MAF goes inside of it and the LID has a clamp that clamps at the end of the neck where the MAF is sealing it.

The tape would be exposed and would look tacky whenever I opened the hood

No you would need an adapter, but that's super cheap and easy if you wanted to do it
