Default Tbss intake

I’m building a 2002 lm7 5.3 is the tbss intake a good choice? Power gains? What year intake should I get?

The TBSS intake is the top of the turd pile when it comes to intakes. The best Stock one. Only reason a lot of guys don’t run it is because it’s way too tall for most cars

2008 -2014 truck intake same as tbss intake. Best stock intake overall except as Hammer said doesn't fit under a lot of car hoods.

It’s a good intake, but may not be the best for a 5.3 depending on mods. It does very well on the 6.0s

Yes. I have an extra one with injectors and rails I would be willing to part with.

No problem. Figured I would offer. Not really worth the effort to separate it out. I’ll probably put it in the classifieds at some point.

I believe they are 35lb injectors. I’ll pull the PN when I get back home.
With those mods you will see gains with the intake vs stock, for sure. You may lose a little torque at the very bottom, but average torque will be up for sure. I like the intake on 5.3s with a cam, even more with some head work and/or exhaust. The more flow the engine supports, the bigger difference you will see with the intake over stock.
