Default ECU question

I'm finally getting ready to fire up my project, and found the next hurdle. I'm doing an LQ4, with an LS3 to end and dbw swap into a 64 nova. I ordered the harness, pedal and tac from psi. I had purchased a 0411 blue/red ecu before the harness, and I'm pretty sure that info was conveyed to psi.

Yesterday, I tried to plug my ecu into the harness (nothing was installed into the car yet) and realized that the harness is blue/green and obviously didn't work. The question I guess is, will the 0411 ecu work with my setup or should I just get a blue/green ecu (and pay again to have vats removed)? I tried to call psi, but forgot the 3 hour time difference.

The blue fits as is and the green will plug in if you trim off a tab (or two, it's been a while since I did mine). Look at the green plug and you'll figure it out, easy fix. 0411 ECMs were used in cars and trucks with the red plug in cars and green in trucks, same ECM.

I would ask if you are doing DBW, why didn't you go E38 or 40? I have an 0411, but I kept mine on cables. I'm just not sure if a Gen IV pedal/TB would work with a Gen III PCM. I could be totally wrong there, but I don't recall there being wiring provisions for it when I repined mine from the 98 harness. I know LS2's used DBW, but I'm limited in my knowledge in wiring that stuff in. I have to say I am curious as to how this works out. I'm sure you researched it thoroughly before purchasing anything.

I got ahold of psi... they told me that I needed the blue/green ecm. I used the torque rush adapter for the dbw. It's s conglomeration of parts that I REALLY hope work together. So, I've got a blue/red ecm for sale with vats and emissions disabled.
