Default AC problem

Ok my ac has been off my car for about 2 years...I bought a used compressor off the board that someone had just taken off his car...I also bought a new drier to be on the safe side...Once i got everything bolted up i pulled a vaccum on the system and then tried to charge it...I jumped off the pressure switch so the clutch would engage but for some reason the clutch never did... I wired the compressor to the battery to see if the clutch would click on and it did...So then i checked fuses and relays...Everything looked good...I never could figure out why the clutch wouldnt engage so i wired the compressor to a 12v ignition source with a toggle...I charged the system with 2 cans of 134a and it worked great...I took it for a short drive and eveything seemed ok...A few hours later i went outside and started my car and the freon seemed like it was blowing out the back of my compressor...I was wondering if the comp. has a pressure release valve in case pressure gets to high for some reason? I thought the orifice tube might have been clogged so i replaced it with a new one...Put two more cans of 134a in and again it seemed to be working fine...Drove the car and parked it and again cranked it later and the same thing happened... Ive tried two compressors and he same thing happens...it takes a charge i park the car for a few hours and then when i crank it again the freon blows out of the compressor...Im at the end of my rope...Anybody got any ideas???

That is close to being the right pressures. There is a relief valve on the back of the compressor, it usually lets go at about 450psi. You may have a system restriction before the hi-pressure test port, like in the discharge line off the compressor or in the condenser itself.
What are the pressures on fire up when the valve blows pressure off? Does the clutch cycle like it is suppost to?

I didnt check the pressure right before the ac blew off...I really thought i had taken care of the problem...Now the pressure is 25low and 120 high...Im not exactly sure how thenclutch is supposed to cycle...I have it wired through 12v ign with a toggle so i can cut it on and off...I wasnt sure that would even work to wire it like that but i tried everything else i could think of to get the compressor to kick on...Thanks for your reply
