3" TD's over the axle question
I hear ya on doing things right within a budget. That's the reason why I haven't done anything to my engine yet...I'm having to be extremely patient (and slow at the same time
). I just ordered a Stage 3 clutch yesterday, and I'll be waiting until after the first of the year to get the 9" rear and heavy duty DS I want...at that point, I'll have all of my suspension stuff in line as well, and only then will I go ahead and get some engine goodies.If I were you, I'd just go ahead and remove it and see what happens...just don't flog the **** out of it around corners, and you should be fine.

Once I have the work done next week and I get a chance to drive the car around some without the upper brace, I'll post my findings.

Seems like the straight line stuff is no prob....
