Okay, this oil pan https://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Per...12593/10002/-1 bolt pattern does not match up to a 5.3 / 6.0 block. Only 1 of the bottom bolts mates up. Unfortanately I assumed that it would before dropping the motor in. So, I used the one bolt on the bottom two and then put bolts into the the top hole which was not used. Also can push out the line up dowels and put bolts there. Think there will be a problem with not having the one bottom bolt?
The green bolt matched the block and bell housing, the red one does not. My bell housing has the extra bolt at the very top, so I put a bolt in it that was not used before. Same number of bolts holding the housing to the block, just one is in a different spot.

Do not worry about the bolts at the bottom of the bell housing. As long as you have the rest of the bolts that go into the engine block present, you can leave the bottom bolts out. They offer very little structural rigidity and are not necessary. Again, just make sure that all bell-housing to engine block bolts are there and you will be fine.
