I am troubleshooting my A/C system, because it is not blowing cold air. It is holding pressure, but I am waiting to borrow gauges to see the pressures. I want to check the compressor out for now. Can someone tell me where the low pressure switch is for the A/C system? I only see the high pressure switch. Also does anyone know how many ohms for both the low and high pressure switches when open and closed? TIA

It may be that the old low-side switch function is
now done by the PCM using the pressure sender
voltage value? No point using a cheap switch when
you can use a transducer and lines and lines of
code....

Ok I went out today and checked to see if the clutch was engaging. I turned the car on and checked the clutch, and it wasn't spinning, but the belt was spinning. So then I turn the AC onto high and hear the click, which I didn't hear before (headers and ORY), and the clutch is spinning. So now what do I check? Does this mean my compressor and clutch are working fine? I still don't have cold air blowing through. Is there a way that I can check to see if the freon is moving through the lines? Any good advice is welcome. Thanks

Off of the compressor there is a small line that goes to the front of the car to the condenser. It should be pretty hot with the compressor clutch engaged.
The other line going to the compressor is larger & it should be cool & even sweating with condensation if operating normally.
That is a easy basic way to tell if it is building pressure.
But really to diagnois this the proper charge is going to need to be confirmed & then the system running pressures checked. Otherwise we're just guessing.
