idle surging I have been having a issue for months with my car, it idles high and surges up and down only with ac off and in park, drive ability sucks also if im just going through a parking lot foot off the gas it idles high and doesn't come down until i come to a complete stop and sits for a couple seconds at that stop,throttle response is slow also, a shop replaced the cam position sensor and adjusted tune a few weeks ago and it idled and drove perfect then the same issues came back three weeks later and has had me stumped, car has small cam,headers and slp intake engine wise

i forgot to mention after the shop had fixed it 2 weeks later i went and got a true dual 3inch exhaust with xpipe and borla mufflers put on and 4 days later is when the problem came back, could the exhaust had affected the tune ? it was tuned with true dual straight pipes before because i was waiting to do exhaust.
Sounds like it's tune related. When I finally got HP tuners, I adjusted the under speed and over speed in the table and got a rock steady idle instead of the surging that it used to do.
I personally would take it to a different tuner, also sounds like they increased your rpms to keep it from stalling which is why it idles high and then tries to settle down when you come to a stop.
