dead short bank 2

got a problem with a 2000 silverado but figured cars may have same problem and need help what to do next. soon as i put a fuse in bank #2 it blows it. checked fuse block for short and looks visibly fine. i have unplugged coils and injectors to eliminate short there so what next ? harness looks fine but i haven't unplugged it completely to examine it.any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say, check it wire by wire. Something could be chafing through worn insulation.

Start unplugging the injectors, and the coils, and then check continuity to ground for the power supply legs. You will quickly find the short in this manner.

You can begin by disconnecting the #2 bank small harness at it’s origin (toward computer), then insert fuse. If the problem goes away, then reconnect small harness, then manually separate the small harness wires, beginning with cyl #2, then insert fuse. Then cyl#4...... Best of luck!
