Default Biggest alt pulley for truck alt.

Overspinning mine and it's not liking it. Can't put in the larger dr44 won't fit with my fuel lines or hood.

don't have time or funds to relocate alt and buy another new alt.

I had the exact same issue and kept killing alternator after alternator every time I went WOT. This was with the truck style alternators as well.

I did some research and came across the KRC 612-40150600 3.5" alternator pulley. This solved my issues and have not killed my alternator since. I spin min to 7200 and has seen 7500 rpms without issue.

You will need a longer belt to compensate for the larger pulley but aside from that, it bolts right up. I had these issues once I went back to the stock size balancer instead of the 25% underdrive.
