Bmw ls swap assistance/build :)

This is my first post so plz work with me...

I have a 2001 bmw 32Ci Ls swap I've been building for 3 years now. I'm a couple parts away from my first start up

. Is it possible to run the car with out a mass air flow sensor? I have a 102 fast Intake set up and didnt wanna waste money on a stock MAF only to buy another in a couple weeks. * ENGINE HAS 0 MILES FRESH REBUILD*

You can but the tune has to be calibrated for it.

I bought my ECU from ebay with a base tune. I gave the guy my cam spec and mod list then boom he sent me the pcm

Only one way to know for sure. I wouldn't run it for very long but assuming the tune is decent it should run in SD for a bit.

If you've waited 3 years, just wait until you get a MAF. And your tune needs to be for the exact specific MAF you're using - so if it was tuned for a stock 75mm MAF, that's what you need, otherwise you need a new tune.
