Default Stainless works 3.5 catback

Anyone that's used the 3.5" stainless works catback, which muffler comes with this system is it the turbo chambered muffler or turbo s- tubed muffler?

If I remember right they offered both versions of the muffler.

I noticed they had both mufflers to buy on their website but not an option to choose which one with the system

Car currently is a heads and cammed swapped LS3 01 Z28 with arh headers and y-pipe and GMMG catback. I feel like I'm leaving power under the table exhaust flow wise with the GMMG and don't want to mess with the hassle of true duals. The stainless works system will offer almost factory like fitment with more flow than the traditional 3" cat backs out there

I'm willing to bet your current setup isn't restricting you at all. As long as you have a good merge in the y-pipe you're fine IMO

It's an ARH y-pipe which does have a high quality merge and not just 2 pipes welded and pinched together like some of the cheaper ones out there. 3 in y into an actual 3 inch merge. Another reason I'm looking is the Gmmg is too raspy once mods are done. Sounds excellent at idle and wot but horrible cruising around around 2500-3000

Plus the Gmmg system necks down to less than 2.5 inches inside the chambered section of the mufflers which I feel like hurts performance wise a little

Yeah if you don't like the rasp then I can see changing that, but flow wise I don't see much of a difference

I picked up 24 hp with cut outs with my TSP good merge Y. These "high flow" setups restrict more power than they let on.

Just put on low profile cut outs.

Done and done

If I remember right you did dual cutouts right? I can see how that would net some gains on certain setups
