Default Injectors

Hi there,
I have just purchased a high rise, dual throttle body intake to run on my 5.7l ls1. I have two 4150 throttle body's on it, both are 1000cfm. I am stuck on what injectors to run. Is there such thing as too big?
what does everyone recommend?
thanks

How is the rest of the motor set up? No matter what, a 346cu in. engine will NEVER EVER use 1000cfm. Why so much?

You spinning to 11 or something? 2,000cfm is a lot of air for a 5.7

I'm not sure he meant both are 1000cfm EACH or in TOTAL. Either way, that's a lot of cfm for a 5.7 to handle.

That's just the size of the throttle body's that came in the kit I brought. I thought they were 500cfm each, not 1000cfm each. I have this Cam, also I have 3 inch headers and I am in the process of finding the right heads to get as well.

Did you just close your eyes and point to something in a catalog? What exactly was your reasoning behind getting this dual intake? You're never gonna get this to run right. Sell that nonsense.

Answer this- WHAT do you want to end up with? WHAT are you going to use it for? Don't just buy a bunch of stuff that you think will look and sound cool. You will be SORELY disappointed...

You guys are missing the point here! He got that "(increased overlap) for the big idle sound"! Big idle sound demands big airflow!

Why don't you figure out the airflow demands of your engine and see for yourself? It's not hard, and that way you learn...

I obviously got it to get a lot of air flow. A lot of people are running these intakes here in nz and they run fine. They wouldn't make them if you could never get them to run right 👍

Not hard with a factory engine but it's abit hard to find out the demands of my engine with the parts I have. That's why I am on here looking for advice, not looking at getting bagged by people.
cheers

I want a high performance engine. I never brought it for the looks of sound I brought it for the power gains you get over other intakes.

You make too many excuses to do things the wrong way. And show me one single person running this setup on a 5.7.

This guy is running a Holley high rise dual intake with 2 1450cfm throttle bodies and 1000cc injectors. That good enough for you??
