Venturi Effect I've tried searching but I can't find anything on this question, does the venturi on American Racing and the old QTP headers have any effect on scavenging or is it there for cosmetic purposes?

If it's designed right, it DOES help with scavenging by merging the primaries into a smaller area then allowing it to expand into the collector.
