Fast lsxRT porting...worth it?
The consensus seems to be that if you will be spinning the engine to 7500 rpm and higher, go with the MSD. HioSSilver ports the Fast intakes as well as the MSD ones. He's in this thread so just find his username and private message him, he will accommodate your porting needs.

Tony Mamo & the MSD is the choice for LS7 Heads & Plastic Intake.

The MSD on the ls7 outshines the fast basically everywhere. It’s a different animal. MSD doesn’t make an ls3 intake. For extended rpm with a plastic intake and an ls3 you have to go to the mid runner fast.

Is anyone running the new LSXrT square port intake? They only sell it equipped with the medium length "High HP" runners and F.A.S.T. mention on their site that's the only runners they recommend for the square port truck intake. HotRod did a test with the LSXrT but only tested with the short "Race" runners and they lost everywhere under 6,500rpm vs a stock LS3/l92 intake. Very interested in feedback from anyone who is actually running this square port intake or has seen any numbers? Thanks!
