Default Help locating 3" Intermediate & Over Axle pipes

So I recently picked up a mint OEM Dual/Dual to try and quiet my car down, but found that while they were moving the salvaged car it came off of around the yard, the intermediate and over axle pipes got trashed by what I assume were forks from a loader. I'm trying to find some replacement pipes, but so far I haven't had any luck. I found an old thread where someone mentioned two Dynomax part #'s, but I can't find them in stock anywhere, and when I called Dynomax I was told those parts have both been discontinued..

Anyone know where I can find some replacement pipes that will work? Stainless preferred, but right now I'll take what I can find..

Try madhammer exhaust. I think he sells the I pipe by itself.

Dynomax 3" aluminized
54064 Intermediate
53061 OTA

They might work for what you need.
ETA: Sucks they said they are discontinued.

Madhammer has a stainless intermediate pipe on his site. Havent ever seen an OTA pipe listed since on his kit its pretty much part of the cat-back.

54064 Intermediate - found 2
53061 OTA - no luck

BTW - a good muffler shop can custom fab both pipes 3 inch. Did that for 91 RS to get the SLP Dual /Dual installed.

I like this idea best IF you have a competent muffler shop nearby, especially if they stock some 3" mandrel bends to keep the diameter constant.

Thanks! Sucks Amazon is out of the over axle pipe. Looks like they were in stock as of a few days ago, so I’ll keep an eye on it.. maybe I’ll get lucky and one will come back in stock.

Just curious, do you recall what you paid to have the pipes custom made for your car?

Have a shop Fab one up. They can do a real nice job and perhaps even build a better Y merge as well. Weld it all up minus exhaust manifolds and tuck it up real nice. I also recommend a magnaflow or aerochamber for a nice quiet sound. Spintech has a nice sounding transverse muffler as well and it is very unique and flows well.

Just throwing ideas out. I went threw a few online kits and ended up going custom. It was cheaper, looked better and unique. All imo.

02 Droptop Z28,

I remember the 3 inch new I pipe, 3 inch over the axle pipe, install and welding up being about $400. The shop had their own mandrel bender and made the whole thing from straight pipe. The custom fab fit better on the lower sitting RS than the SLP I pipe & over the axle pipe on my 99 TA. It doesn't bang etc. I got what I paid for

They also have a great reputation and I'd done business with them for 20 years. They tried to talk me into a new catback sky that would be cheaper and it would have but I think the SLP Dual / Dual is the ticket for quiet car and good flow.

Side note: They made fun of the cheap tips on my SLP Dual / Dual So get ready for that The same shop had fixed the junk-***, **** poor fitting MagnaFlow x-pipe dual exhaust on my 72 Vette. That travesty almost had the owner in tears he laughed so hard. They chopped up MegaSuck to make it fit better. Said next time just let us build your exhaust right, it will cost less and fit. That turned out to be very true.

I have one of those I-pipes I can't use, never used, PM me if interested. Don't have the part # off hand but can look it up.

No shops local to me have a mandrel Bender so I always bought mandrel bends from summit and built my own. Even done 4” that way a few times.
