Erratic ideal

Hello all, after rebuilding my sons 99 camaro with the LS1 and did the start up it now has an erratic idle and if you do not keep your foot on the gas pedal it will die! The cam is 224r combo from TSP I have not had the car tuned yet and figured that it wouldn't be a problem not being a radical cam. I don't know of any vacuum leaks and if you keep your foot on the pedal enough to keep from wanting to die it runs fine. I have taken it out and it runs strong. Read where you may need to open up the hole in the butter fly on the throttle body. Is this a fix to my issue? Thanks in advance for the wealth of knowledge out there.

Get it tuned you won’t need to drill out the throttle body for that small of a cam.

Deffinitly needs a tune. Trust me I know lol. I had the same issue and had it tuned and runs perfect... Ish haven't gotten it on the rd yet lol
