Default Edelbrock LS3 small bore head?

Is the Edelbrock 230 rectangle head(61319) a small bore LS3 head? Looks promising other than the 69cc combustion chamber.

I’d say the PW 240cc small bore ls3’s are a better deal. They flow as much or more but with a smaller valve and are cheaper

PW—- performance world. From what I’ve been told they are the same casting as the mast heads but as cast and not CNC’d

The 63 cc chamber would work better on a 5.3 or 5.7. The larger chamber heads would probably be a better choice for a stroker.

What about the CPP small bore? CPP lists it, and they are much cheaper than Mast or Edelbrock. Has anyone tried these heads or knows something about them?

Are you sure of that? If so, sounds like Mast is gaming the USA label. More likely, it's a Chinese knock off of a Mast head.....

Some would argue Mast is a knockoff of a quality head.

Dont know the current status,, but because of NAFTA it used to be possible to launder stuff from china through Mexico and put a Made In USA label on it..
