Default cylinder head discussion

So, here is what i have going on. I have a 02 camaro. I purchased all the parts to run a nitrous kit. (Car is and will always be a street car btw) i picked up a torquer v3 cam, ls7 lifters and new lifter trays. I also picked up a nitrous express kit. I bought a set of Advanced Induction (AI) 232 heads with btr 660 springs and TI reatainers.... I thought this would make a FUN street car
I jumped ship on the nitrous build and bought a D1SC kit. sold the nitrous kit. and will sell of the other items. I stumbled onto a ls3 engine with 15000 miles on it that is cammed with forged pistons Stock ls3 heads.. The gentleman is buying an after market block and didn't need it anymore. He was making 805 whp with this engine with the same size blower.

Now here is where i'd like some of you to chime in with your opinions. I'm still sitting on this bad *** set of heads.... should i leave the ls3 alone or would it be worth it to use the AI heads? The ls3 has arp head bolts... so i guess i'd just have to buy a set of gaskets.
If it matters car is full weight, six speed with 410 moser rear end.

If the AI 232 is the port volume, the LS3 heads will out do them handily! At least for total power...

Lol. And having said that I would keep the ls3 heads on it honestly. Even if the heads were equal, which I do not think, I would still say leave the heads on.

You have a running, assembled engine. Dont fix it. Plus intake options on ls3 heads are more plentiful.

I've read some of the vs... threads.... i'm guessing i was just wondering that WHILE engine is on the stand. If any of you would swap out the heads since i already have them on the shelf? I agree that is is running a engine and it would be a plus to leave it alone. I was just wondering if the AI heads would give me more low end torque,... does it even matter since i'm adding a blower?
Thanks for the input guys. Definitely don't want to start a cathedral vs square port thread, but i guess i did lol

Save the AI heads for another project. The LS3 heads will do a great job on this engine!

And the moral of the story is "Don't mess with a good thing and If it's not broke don't fix it"

Speaking of cylinder head discussions.

When you find valve wiggle on your cylinder heads after only 5,000 miles you start wondering what went wrong? I sent them to local guy to go back through them while I had the engine out due to ring issues and I'm not real sure what all he's done to them.

Why oh why did I not have Texas Speed check them for me or better yet why didn't I just save some more $$$ up and went with a set of Brodix BR7's or Mast LS7 cylinder heads from LME!

Anyway I feel the TSP PRC's are decent and I'm crossing my fingers there's nothing wrong with them when it comes to the valve guides. I'll know some more once I get the engine out of the car and the heads on my bench.
