with my empty engine bay now i should probably clearance my firewall if needed, i cant find what is needed to fit this in my 2000 camaro....
1)i need to clearance my ls1 pump correct? just like the 102?
2) im aware it accepts all stock ls7 rails and injectors
3)do i need to massage the firewall and if so where at?
4) am i missing anything?

I have the FAST LS2 OEM style fuel rail with EV1 enjectors and used spacers I picked up from Home Depot due to the fuel rail sitting higher. No clearance work to anything in the engine bay but there's plenty to do away with if a dedicated strip car.

I purchased an AC Delco water pump for an 01 Camaro and didn't have to grind on it to clear the FAST LSXR intake. I've heard of people having to do it so just just check for clearance.

I just took a saw zall and cut that whole ear off the pump, including where the bolt goes. With the msd there is zero chance of it clearing the ls1 water pump.

Fwiw, I did not have clearance issues. But there are two distinctions:
1. My old 220 heads on the 346 had raised ports, so manifold sat higher.
2. Meziere ewp.
After the ls7 swap I put the Ls1 mexiere back on it, and zero issues with stock ls7 intake or holley sniper.

I have the LS7 version, I did not have any clearance issues with it. I did buy a new LS2 style w/p to replace my OEM pump when I did the swap. I'm also running LS7 rails with LS3/7 style (EV6?) injectors.
Word of advice, search for Tony Mamo's thoughts about torquing the bolts - I had issues with them backing out, his method seems to work a little better. Also don't use loctite that is way old as it separates...learned that lesson the hard way.

The top of the water pump may be an issue but until you get the manifold who knows. I do have a question about your setup though. What are you doing for knock sensors?
