Default K&N CAI causing extended crank when cold?

So I decided to start up my 2000 Camaro SS tonight after sitting for more than a week. When I went to crank the car over it cranked more than a few times than normal and then fired up. It’s currenly in the negative temperatures here in Michigan and I’m wondering if the temperature and CAI has anything to do with it. The battery is not low and is hooked up to a trickle charger all winter. Any thoughts?

Every intake is a cold air intake when there is cold air going into it....
