Question LNC-2000 TWO STEP/TRANSBRAKE Question

If I turn 2 step RPM up artificially high, to say 5000 rpm (to take it out of the mix), the Engine RPM will go to 3800 on the transbrake...

BUT...

If I turn the 2 step RPM to, say, 3700, as soon as the engine RPM hits that number, on the transbrake, the 2 step limits the ACTUAL RPM to about 3000 rpm or less...

Actually goes up, until it hits the limiter, than drops and holds at 3000-ish...

Why would it do that?

Jake's D-1 4L80E with triple disc lockup converter, FWIW.

I can make and post a video if need be...but I believe I explained it as it is.

Where are you getting your rpm signal from for the lnc2000?

The LNC2000 plugs inline between the two sets of coils, one section on one side, and one on the other, so it has to get signal directly from the coil harness.

There's only three external wires. One that connects from transbrake button to 2 step RPM limit input, one to the timing retard function from N2O solenoids, and one output that goes to my HPTuners to datalog N2O timing retard/actual N2O timing
