Default 4L60E trans question

My Neutral safety switch black box has 2 plugs can I delete the 2 plugs on the box to run, I am using 2004 Silverado 4.8 motor with stand alone harness and my round plug is plugged in to my trans. Can u explain do I need the plugs or maybe only one if so is there a diagram Or tell me where it or they should be hooked to, thx

Hard to say about your particular neutral safety switch without a picture. Generally, two terminals on these are for the neutral safety switch and the other two terminals on the same assembly support the back up lights. A quick check with a multimeter set to continuity will reveal which is which.

Default Neutral safety sw

Hi Rick,, I don’t need the one plug for sure, the smaller one as u mentioned because I’ve got them wired separately anyway, it’s the other plug, I don’t think I have to use it or what it’s for even. The ACD# is D2263C and larger plug has 4pins on top and 3 pins on the bottom, thx. Also I can send u a pic but not sure how to do it, old school sorry! Whoops taken one but don’t no where it went!
