Ignition upgrade problems all issues solved. I'm just dumb
99 Trans am LS1. My gf bought me Holley valve covers so bought Summit brand LS3 coil packs and AC delco LS3 harnesses. Car doesn't fire 1 cyl. I put stock stuff back on and it runs fine.
So I return the summit coil packs and upgrade to the LS3 MSD coil packs. MSD-82658. Same acdelco harnesses. Not a single cyl fires.
With the summit coils I tested for spark with the plug against the strut tower bolt and it was intermittent.
going to buy a spark tester today and test the MSD.
remember all that I am changing is valve covers, coil packs and coil pack harnesses. But when back to stock it fires right up. Any input would be appreciated.
