Do a search and read the long and technical threads on Ram Air and you'll have a better idea about "pressurization." Cutting out the lower airbox is not going to help if you have BGRA, but there is no such thing as this pressure leakage. The most reported potential problem with the FTRA/SSRA is the increased risk of hydrolock, and plenty of guys are dismissive of that.

I kept the parts but you could make a cover out of a sheet of aluminum and rivit down. I thought about doing that when I couldnt find the parts that I cut out.
