ON EDIT: I didn't realize you knew about the clearance issue already, just read that now.
Yeah the more I read about SLP LT's and them scarping just about everything and being a PITA to install was making me want to go with Kook's or QTP's. Hopefully it was a blessing in disguise.

...Don't forget about StainlessWorks LT Headers + Catted Y-pipe.

STILL the most inexpensive 304L-SS Header on the market. I picked up 30+ HP & Tq with the addition of their headers, and were a BREEZE to install.

i can only talk about what i own and I have Pacesetters and they work for me I don't think i have seen a LT header dyno test yet to really compare the most popular brands.

I got my Pacesetters for TSP-------->

if you get the Pacesetters I would recommend a true dual setup instead of a raspy y-pipe

I bought mine directly from StainlessWorks (vendor link on the right ----->).

Headers were $699 if I remember correctly, and they offer the choice of a Y-pipe with or without ultra-high flow Random-Tech Cats (custom made for Stainlessworks). Headers and Y-pipe are all 304 Stainless Steel - the best there is.

No leaks, headers and Y-pipe fit absolutely fine. When you call, ask for Al Noe and tell him that Mike K recommended their headers....

This is great!!! I was JUST about to post up a similar question, minus the SLP part, but now I don't have to. My only question was Kooks or QTP, but I really think I like the Kooks better from everything I have read/heard.......

thanks Red, I called today (and spoke to somone else, sorry, didn't get to your post before) and he gave me the run down, the headers and Y were going to be just over $1300, the only problem was the wait is 4-6 weeks, WOW....I might just have to go with the Kooks, I don't know yet....but thanks for the info!...

I am very happy with my FLPs, they went in with minimal effort. I gained 24 RWHP with them.
