Question regarding egr and fast intake

I'm required to keep egr but let's say I want to build a 408 or 427 with ls3 heads can I use this intake it appears to have an egr hookup? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fst-146302b

The intake in your link shown below is for LS1/LS6 cathedral style cylinder heads and will not match to LS3 rectangular heads heads correctly.

The one below is what you want for LS3 heads. Note the different part numbers.

Any manifold for rectangular port heads will not accommodate EGR since no Gen IV engine came with it.

It looks like the port on it can be used for egr correct?

Do they check for EGR function or just make sure it's there?

There's a port on top that could be used for EGR. We used that top port for the MAP sensor on my LS3 headed 416.
