1998 Trans Am LS1 Discovery
Went with professional products intake instead and a speed engineering 92mm throttle body, went ahead and updated the pcv valley pan and new knock sensors. I’ll get a SLP LID soon and some minor exhaust work. While it was down I installed a level one speaker set from Keeaudio, a vendor from here and man it sounds good. Added a set of 12inch subs with 5000 watt mono block.
Next on the list :
speedometer isn’t working.
passenger side DRL and turn signal doesn’t work.
"This manifold is the result of over one year of development and testing and has proven to provide significant increases in power. In direct comparison dyno tests against a factory LS6 intake manifold, the Typhoon produced 17.7 more horsepower* at 6,200 rpm. It also makes more power and torque at low and mid-range engine speeds than other aftermarket manifolds. This design features a larger plenum volume, which makes the manifold suitable for larger displacement engines and boosted applications. The manifold has nitrous bosses positioned on the port runners."
Has me curious, almost 18hp over a ls6 intake? stock fuel rails and everything work with it?

On a mustang dyno I did 330 through an unlocked stall, which shouldve been 360-ish on a dynojet. I have long tubes, true duals, stock intake, slp lid,ws6store hotcam which isnt all that big. I was told 330 was low, but I still think my car can go 11's with good tires.

I pulled the cam and this is what I found. The 1st bearing is shot. All other bearings look good. The cam lobes look good except for one and all lifters rotate and look fine when I looked inside via mirror. I rolled all the lifters and inspected carefully. Took me a few hours but I got it done. Looking for some advise!
Cam Bearing
Numbers from Cam. No clue what these represents. Help!
Lope looks shot, I think someone installed this crap and sold me the car. It doesn’t add up the damage I’ve found.
No chain tensioner installed.
Replaced cam bearing, hopefully this will hold.
