Default Recommended Spark plugs?
I have a LQ4, had it freshly rebuilt, going in a Porsche.

it has 9.95:1 compression
with a 233/239 113 LSA cam .600 lift
7.375” push rods
243 heads
LS6 Intake

it will be NA, later down the road will be boosted. The engine is about to be installed, and was recommended to get NGK spark plugs. Was wondering if someone can recommend specific spark plugs to use for now, so I can get it started and send it to get tuned. Thanks!

Which model Porsche? If rear engine, an iron block will add 100# behind the rear axle and affect handling adversely.

its a 944, front engine

it had an LS1 originally, from what I’ve read also the iron block is actually about 20lbs weight difference in the stock engine

Yeah I've heard the stock 944 engine is a real boat anchor.

Kind of off topic, I was wondering do spark plug wire lengths have to match from side to side? Is that just more of a cosmetic thing?

No they don't have to match. It's good that they be from the same manufacturer series if possible since spark plug wire impedances can vary.
