I have these new red nolathane engine mounts (yes I know they emphasize engine harshness) what I want to know is should I use the stock engine mount sheilds or is the red nolathane more resistant to oil. The reason I ask is I like the appearance of them and would prefer not to cover them up.
Thanks for the link, I soaked them in vinegar until the plating was removed then painted them red. Hopefully they will stand the heat ok.
Lots of differing opinions on NVH levels with poly engine mounts, I was hoping the added stiffness might emphasise the mild shake from the cam I have in my engine?
