5.7 wiring harness work with a 5.3? Hey all!
ive done some digging and haven’t seen one way or another. Next winter I’m thinking I’m swapping out the 5.7 4l60e combo in my 2000 camaro for a 5.3 th400 combo.
im wondering though will the wiring harness work or am I opening a can of worms there?

Somewhat, yes. Not the same but somewhat close. If you're putting your 5.7 external stuff back - intake, throttle body, etc. - then mostly if not totally yes. Obviously some things will change because of the trans but the engine part should generally work.
