Belt Tensioner torque

Belt Tensioner torque I put 30 ft lbs on the bolts - is that enough or do i need to re-do with 37 ft lbs ?
This is on a ls1 boat engine so I wasn't sure. The bolts have a 5/16 Allen head and a locking washer

i was just afraid to go that high - i started at 20 and worked my way up to 30 - just wasn't sure with that much torque going into aluminum. On my previous boats most torque values were pretty low like 15 or 18
I see, I sometimes get nervous of certain specs too. Think of the head bolts, those are 75lb and those go into an aluminum block.

If it makes you nervous, just leave them at 30 and keep a wrench with you if it were to get loose. I keep a set of tools in my boat at all times...
