Fast 90 Rope Gasket Help

Hello,

What is the procedure for installing the rope gasket? Do I have to put any RTV anywhere? Does the rope also get used on the runners?

When I did mine, I used rtv where ever I had a joint, and yes it goes accross the runners.

i used dielectric grease....and made sure that i cut the ends at the same angle as the butted end....and i cut it long

and i greased up the entire rope with grease....just a little....goes a long way....that way the rope can move instead of pinching
