02 TA won’t crank Hey guys, yesterday I drove my car over to a friends house and when I went to leave I go to start the car but it wouldn’t crank? Had full power but nothing would happen. I noticed that when I had the key turned forward that I couldn’t depress the button on the gear shifter and the brake pedal was stiff (if I remember correctly it seems the the pedal would get softer with the key forward) I thought maybe it wasn’t fully into park so I was going to try it in neutral that’s when I noticed the shifter button wouldn’t press. I gave that button hell and got it to press in, tried in neutral but same thing. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t hearing the fuel pump start either with the key forward. The security light was going off like it should but I tried my spare key anyway but no luck same results. Switched the start and ignition relays around, removed battery terminal still nothing . The only other recent issue I ran into after getting the car out of storage a month or so ago is that the gas gauge isn’t working right, ran some fuel cleaner through but no change. Probably just the sending unit and not related but thought I’d throw it out there..... I have a meter to check things out but I’m not really sure where to start

******* mouse chewed completely through the black and white wire for fuel pump relay coil, and has a few other wires down to copper. I was able to get some alligator clip jumpers in there to temporarily connect the fuel pump relay wire, hit the key heard the fuel pump but still nothing. Jumpered starter relay contacts and it fired. Limped it home now I need to figure out how to repair these wires under the lower fuse/relay holder. Nice amount of room under there for a mouse but I sure as hell cant get my hands in there to repair wires.

I found this page earlier on here but I’ve looked through my gm service manual for that specific page and can’t seem to find it? Seems like an important page. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong area but my diagrams start on page 6-1386 to 6-1399 and I’m not seeing it

Anyone know if that lower fuse box can be disassembled? I see there are some thin gray plastic pieces that go into the exterior of the box that might be removable to allow you to take out a bank of fuses or relays so you can get at things better??
