I'm assuming that the gains from a Fast 102 would be over 6000 rpm since they have slightly shorter runners. If you have the limiter set at 7000-7500 it might be worth the swap.

I may give up a little down low, but it's got a 4400 rpm converter and revs. Plus I can grow under the intake.

I got a hookup on my intake.
The dude is still on here I'm sure he's got more.

Fast 102. 675 shipped
Nw 102. 370 shipped
Ebay oem ls2 rail. 99 shipped
Green giants EV1 style. 125 shipped

Map relocation harness and other miscellaneous. 75-100

I did not get mine ported yet.
Who's the seller? $675 is a decent deal.

Gains with a 102 over an ls6 or 92 are across the board improvements. It has an improved runner design and lots of plenum room available. Should be good to peak around 6100-6400 rpms and if built right, should have no problem carrying to 7k

The answer is just about always 102 even on a stock LS1, if money were no object.

And you don't necessarily need a retune after the swap if you are N/A.

The fast stuff really benefits from porting.

And it should be tuned afterwards. Some cars can likely get by with no tuning. It just depends on the information the pcm is interpolating. It can only correct so much.

I'm running a heavily ported doorman 90ls2 with my prc 225s. For my cost of $298 at oriley and 4/5 hrs worth of porting and prepping, I can't justify at all the cost of a fast. Dyno numbers are soon to come, but car runs extremely well for the setup.

I think it's awesome you can port your own intake! The one thing I'd be scared of is slipping and turning my new $300 intake into junk! However, for you, I see how you wouldn't want to justify the cost. BUT, if you paid a professional to port that same intake, you'd be coming close to the price of a new FAST92mm anyway. Installing my intake didn't scare me, but porting it myself sure would!

I found a dorman 90mm on ebay, its 4 bolt though not 3 bolt.

Im stuck between that dorman 90mm, and a lingenfelter/weiand 300-111.

Not always true.
TB/IAC oriface plays a lot.

My tuner prefers working on 102s.
