Default 2 4 6 & 8 not firing

This is my initial start-up on my 68 Chevelle /07 tbss swap. Initial start not real crisp, rough idle, cut it off check the plug wires and find cold headers on the passenger side, hot on the drivers side. I've got the PSI harness & cpu.

Question where should I start looking ?
Thanks, Tony

A similar problem to yours I remember on this site from the past it turned out to be an issue with the coil harness on that side of the engine. Half the cylinders were dead. Swapped it out, problem fixed. Not saying this is the cure, but it could help you out. Good luck!

Check the ground for that harness. Also the plug connections.

Now if I swapped the coil pack from right side to left and had the same condition (as in no fire on right side again) that would tell me the coil pack is working as it should correct ?

I'm just talking out loud as not to cause any further damage.........Thanks

You should try that yes. I have seen many flipped coil subharnesses cause this. Look for bent pins in subharness main connector too

Ok I did flip the coil packs from left to right and still have the same problem not firing on the right bank. So that would suggest the problem is from the ECU to the main coil pack connector. I'll see if PSI has a trouble shooting page and wait to call them Monday

This has been a 14 year Nut & Bolt resto project so I'm not panicking now. To be honest it was nice to here it "kinda" run, I know I'm close. Thanks for all your help guys.

Hey to add to the mystery I needed an O2 extension harness to reach the sensor connector on the right side header collector, it was way to long so I bought new terminal pins to match and shortened the extension harness then put them back in the plug. I took my time and feel I did a good job of it...........but if I did not could this effect the right side coil bank or Injectors ?

Thanks, Tony

Unless there was a bad connection, it should not be affected.
It would definitely not cause a no-fire condition.

Pulled # 4 plug wire put an extra plug in started it up and had a ton of spark. So I guess that leaves fuel / injectors. I'll go buy a Noids test kit tomorrow and see what I find. This PSI harness comes with 2 ground eyelets for grounding in the engine bay, I have them both together bolted to the back side of the drivers head. That should not be a problem should it ?

Double check your grounds , sounds like one side is not grounded.

I checked for power to the Injectors, Pink wire, with a test light and I do have power. Started the engine checked the ground signal wire and got the intermittent ground that it calls for. So it looks like I'm down to the Injectors. Does that sound about right ? The fuel feed is on the drivers side they are rectangular shaped fuel rails with a bleeder valve on the passenger side. The engine came out of a wrecked 2007 tbss. Would there be any reason only the right side Injectors are clogged ?

I've no experience with Injectors but have seen a You tube of a guy cleaning them. I'm quite handy is this anything I should be worried about doing myself ? A bigger question is how are they removed ? Seems they are just a friction fit ? Thanks again.
