Need help with headers + y pipe replacement
s
My experience the Speed Engineering stuff is pretty good overall for the cost. Y pipe may be pretty fussy to get fitted. My local performance shop hates Speed Engineering in general due to the random fit issues that occur.FWIW - I've had exhaust holes fixed before by asking the shop to weld a washer into the hole. If the hole isn't too big that can work as a band aid for a while. Probably will depend on how rusted out the metal is if that can be done.
Saved me having to buy a new exhaust for the wife's old Grand Am a time or two

I wouldn't have been able to patch the hole because the pipes were badly rusted, photos are above^, nevertheless I decided to go new pipes anyway for the case of when I resell
it all worked out, and these are ss 304 so i should be good from now on
