3rd gen headers in a 4th gen??

3rd gen headers in a 4th gen?? Ok so I'm going to get flammed but need to ask. I acquired a nice set of ls1 1-7/8 swap headers from Hawks for a 82-92 f body.
Was wonder of the chances of them actually fitting in a 98-02 car? Since I really didn't pay for them I'm not worried since my SS already has headers.

No interchange unless they are shorties.
I have and 3rd Gen with LS1 & a 4th Gen both have long tubes and the headers are very different.
If you Google pics of 4th Gen LS1 long tube /Intermediate headers they are clearly different from LS1 3rd Gen LT's/Intermediate headers.
