Fast 102 question (injectors)

Default Fast 102 question (injectors)

I read a couple things about the fast102 and issues people have with installing them and some people have said that you need a "special skinny injector" I wanna upgrade my intake before I send it off for the tune (still trying to decide between SD and MAF tune&#128542 but I bought my Deka 80lb injectors so I could get tuned for E85 now I'm wondering if these injectors will work with a fast102 if not I'd probably just go with a fast92 sense these injectors are still brand new in the package and I'm not going to buy anther set of injectors

Spacer between the rail and injector so the spacer would bolt to the intake? I just read a post someone put a spacer between the injector and the intake seems that would really screw with the spray od the injector

its a spacer for the fuel rail not the injector

The overall length of my ls3 injectors with a height adapter are equivalent to a stock ls1 injector. Injectors werent long enough without the adapter so in a pinch i used some small washers to fill the gap between the rail and manifold. Hasn't failed me in 5 years.

My 102 didnt clear the stock ls1 water pump or parts store ls2 pump. Had to grind the ls1 pump to the point it had pinholes in it, trash at that point. Meziere street pump had plenty of room but a seal went bad from my car sitting for almost 3 years ran out and got a parts store gates ls2 pump. It took a bit of grinding to clear but no holes. The ls2 pump i have definitely doesnt keep the car as cool as the meziere or ls1 pump. Heard a gm ls2 pump clears no issue but im done playing that game, going to have my meziere rebuilt. Other than that fits and seals fine never had an issue. Just some food for thought.

X2 would be good info for people to know guess I'll try to file it down sense alot of people have had luck doing that and if it dont work maybe I'll just use it as an excuse to grab an electric water pump 😁 never hurts to squeeze out every hp
