SLP Lid fitment??

Hello!
New TransAm owner here. I installed the SLP flow pack on the car last week, but I’m not happy with how the lid seals to the filter base assembly, you can see the air filter from the side and rear. Is this a normal issue? Did I do something incorrectly? The front seals and the smooth below/maf/lid are all pushed as far as possible. Pics attached!

Mine did that too, shave 1/4" off the bellows. Its too long and pushing lid forward

this, and i find my clamps dont pop open if the front center is set up as an overbite...aka front center of lid inside of the center lower

SLP lids fit just fine when fully seated on the MAF and the stock bellow is used. But fitment issues are quite common with the smooth bellow and/or when the lid is not fully pressed onto the MAF end (sometimes heat is required to get this fully seated). I would go back to the stock bellow.
