NEED HELP !! 06 GTO wont start
i have a 2006 gto wiring harnesses that I'm going through and no matter what i test i cant get to the issue. Lets start with what i have so far.
Starter relay
Pin 30 12V
Pin 87 0.0 Ground -> key on start =0.0V
Pin 86 0.20v -> key on start =12.0v
Pin 85 0.20v -> Key on start =12.0v
Ignition control relay
Pin 30 12v
Pin 87 0.1 Ground -> Key on Start =12 V
Pin 85 1.01 ->Key on start =12.0v
Pin 86 -0.01 ->Key on Start= 12v
Horn fuse 12v off -> key on start =12v
Ignition Fuse 12v off -> Key on start =12v
Instrument Cluster 2.2 off -> key on start = 2.2
Purple wire from the back of the Ignition switch does not send any signal
Lock 0.0v
ACC 0.0v
ON 0.0v
Start 0.0v
Every wire on the back of the ignition switch besides the purple goes to 12v
The vehicles fuel pump primes , throttle pedal , Door locks, lights, blinkers, work. The grounds that are attached at the rear of the driver side of the block, front of the passenger side of the bock, Sp100 common ground attached to the passenger frame rail, ground from under hood the fuse block attached to a ground strap attached to the frame. The ECU is grounded to the fire wall. I'm not sure if grounding the ignition cylinder should be grounded . The BCM is a bit hard to test for a ground but I'm open for new information. When i attach a code reader I'm getting a communication issue . I will upload more detailed photos .
