Gasket and Part recommendations - swap Sorry guys, I searched this one to death and can't find anything reasonably helpful. If this isn't the "correct" forum for this post, please let me know.
I'm swapping an LM7 into a 1968 Camaro. I'm planning on going turbo after it's all working, sticking with N/A to get everything initially sorted. I need a lot of parts. Currently I have a huge wishlist on Summit, but there are a few items that are difficult to research due to how many options there are and lack of forum posts discussing them. I'll be using the Holley swap mounts for the LM7 and a 4L80e trans. I'll be adding ring gap for future boosting (per Mr Richard Holdener), a Sloppy Stage 2 cam/PAC Springs, and ARP head/rod/exhaust manifold bolts.
Which gaskets should I replace, and which should I reuse? What "package" or gasket kits should I look at?
Which Holley Terminator X Max should I get for LM7 with 4L80e - with screen? (I'll be using a laptop as well later, so I'd rather get something with more features than less).
My goal is to put this car into the low to mid 10's on drag radials. I'm not doing any weight cutting, and from what I gather my car should weigh anywhere from 3200-3500ish pounds when complete? I'm putting up my wishlist for Christmas and birthday presents. After that "easy" present period, I'd really like to work with a single supporting vendor to have that relationship for tech support. I'd post a lot more, but I'm trying to avoid a wall of text for my first post on here. Thanks to all of you for the advice.
